Modern-Day Dictum

A friend advised me that my computer is trying to be helpful when it assumes I'm searching for businesses near my computer, rather than letting me enter a city first.  You know what they say about being "helpful"...

I haven't played jokes on April Fools' Day since childhood, but people still try it on me.  For example, it snowed today.  In April.  In the desert.
